CRVS2010 Beta - crdb_adoplus.dll not found

Since I can't get the help to work and seaching this forum did not give me a valid answer (well one that made sense) I am posting it as a question.

I am using VS2010 and .NET 4.0 with WPF.

I have the below code which gets data and loads it into a query definded as CollectionSummaryRecord.  The CollectionSummary report is defined in the assembly and works if I don't change the data source.  CR_ReportViewer is a WPF report viewer.

In my searching I got the impression I should not be using "SetDataSource" but am not sure what to use.  I am trying to use an in memory value and not the SQL directly.  Intellisense shows SetDataSource taking an IEnumerable<T> so it seems logical to use it.

Code:

var rd = new reports.CollectionSummary();

var data = from p in dl.OpenCBs

                               group p by new { p.AreaCode, p.Number } into g

                               select new CollectionSummaryRecord()

                               {

                                   PhoneNumber = string.Format("({0}) ", g.Key.AreaCode, g.Key.Number),

                                   Collected = g.Sum(p => p.Amount_Collected)

                               };

rd.SetDataSource(data);

this.CR_ReportViewer.ViewerCore.ReportSource = rd;

Error message:

Could not load file or assembly 'file:///C:\Program Files\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win32_x86\dotnet1\crdb_adoplus.dll' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

The missing file exists on my system just not in that directory, it is the win32_x86 directory above the dotnet directory.  Note there is no such directory as "dotnet1" (with '1'), there is one without the '1'.

Thanks for any help...

John

Operation not yet implemented error in PDF export

Greetings!  This error started to appear just this morning (everything was working just fine yesterday) when the users attempt to export a Crystal Report to a PDF file.  I've searched the net, and nothing out there solves the problem.  The report is using just Arial font, so it is not do to some esoteric font.  The msvcp100 and msvcr100 files are from July, so they are fine.  Frankly, I'm stumped, so if anyone has any suggestions on what we can try, I'd appreciate the input.  In the meantime, I have modified the code to export to a Word format, which is working just fine, as does exporting to an RTF format; it is just the PDF export that is causing this issue.  Help!  Thanks....

Error

Error in File CrystalReportTestBlankReport {D781AF0B-642B-4FB5-BC4B-F05D5934DA2F}.rpt: Operation not yet implemented.

You may test yourself at here : [http://esolutionscurry.co.in/crystalreporttestpage.aspx|http://esolutionscurry.co.in/crystalreporttestpage.aspx]

Please note there are no issues in opening report and exporting to word, rtf and excel. Just PDF export is not working.

My Server Configuration is : windows server 2008 R2 Standard, Dot Net Framework 4 and Plesk Parallel 10.3

I have installed Crystal report 13 (the one that is available for use with Visual Studio 2010)

I am able to export the report from within the Visual Studio Localhost, but this fails in IIS.

Please help.. this issue is killing me everyday.

Thanks in advance..

Where would I find the log file to see if that gives any help ?

I have checked to see if the problem is a previous attempt at installation but I can't see anything in "Uninstall or change program"

Any idea about what I should try next ?

I am receiving this error on couple of systems  that are updated to windows 8.1 when trying to export to pdf. I checked other solutions as to check for fonts used by the system etc. I am using Arial and Times New Roman and still getting the errors and even when i try to export a blank crystal report to pdf i am still getting the error.

Looks like its a Windows 8.1 and cystal reports compatibility issues.. Can you please look into it and prove me any solution?

Install App crystal version 13.0.2000.0

I have created an application using the .NET 4.0 runtime using Visual Studio 2010. The development PC is Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit. I need to use .NET 4.0 because of features required for XML. When I attempt to deploy the application on a PC whose OS is Windows 7 64 Enterprise, the required .NET 4 runtime is installed and the Crsytal reporte runtime is also installed. The install fails with the error: Unable to install or run the application. The application requires that the assembly CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.CommonObjectModel Version 13.0.2000.0 be installed in the Global Assembly Cache (GAC) first. It appears the latest version for download is 13.0.1... This issue appears to be common, but yet I can find no fix for it. Help, Please.

Error exporting to PDF from Crystal Reports 2008

Hi,

We are getting following error while exporting Crystal report to the PDF and preview in IE:

Description: Failed to export to a pdf file -- Selected exporter does not support one of the features used in this report. MyReport {DCA37817-1414-45A7-8DF9-75503B8CD0FE}.rpt

This report having chart object as subreport, however export to Excel works fine and we could see chart fine in Excel. Any other reports without charts are exporting fine to the PDF format only this one having issue.

Report developed with Crystal Reports 2008/SP2, server we are running this report having CRRuntime_12_0.msm merge file installed successfully. We can't install 12_2 or 12_3 downloaded from your site because of errors we are getting while setup with these merge files somehow.

Server configuration: Windows 2008 RC2 64bit, .NET framework 3.5, project executing report compiled as x86 ASP.NET project.

Thanks for help!

Support for Visual Studio 2013

Hi there,

I just installed a new system (VMWare, Windows 7 Ultimate) with Visual Studio Professional 2013. I registered the license as a Trial Version for 90 days.

Now I try to install CRforVS_13_0_7 that I downloaded today (oct. 18 2013) from the SAP website.

When running this exe as administrator, after accepting ACL, =Choosing Setup Language English, Windows installer pops up with a message box.

This message box has the title : SAP Crystal Reports, vesion for Microsoft Visual Stuido Setup

The text of the message is :

"You must already have Visual Studio 2010 or Visual Studio 2012 installed to proceed with this installation."

It only gives me the option OK.

When clicking the OK button, the installation is cancelled.

Does anyone know of a fix for this issue because I need CR Reports for Visual Studio and we have to migrate to Visual Studio 2013.

How to get Crystal Reports Editor in Visual Studio 2013 Preview?

In Visual Studio 2005, if I double-click a *.RPT file in Solution Explorer, the file opens in the Crystal Reports editor.
In Visual Studio 2013 Preview, if I double-click a *.RPT file, it opens in Notepad.  How do I get it to use the Crystal Reports editor again, please?

There must be at least part of Crystal Reports in Visual Studio 2013 Preview, because when I run the program it is able to view Crystal Reports, I just can't edit them!
